Pre-sale customer engagement
Motorola Solutions has a large network of regional sales representatives and select DAS Channel Partners that can meet with you to discuss your in-building Public Safety or LMR coverage needs. Our customer focused DAS Team will quickly engage our DAS Design Engineers to develop a complete BDA/Coaxial or Fiber Optic DAS solution that is economical and AHJ/NFPA compliant.
Engineering Design Development
Our Motorola DAS Engineering team will gather the salient information and coverage requirements for the DAS Solution. A complete DAS Design Package is provided that includes schematic block diagrams, DAS Floor Plan layout diagrams, Engineered Values and a Bill of Material (BOM) using Motorola Solutions vetted and approved DAS equipment providers. A critical design review of the proposed system is provided (if required) ensuring that all the customer needs are met.
System Integration and Commissioning
Once the DAS project is awarded, Motorola Project Management (PM) is assigned to the project and qualified installation and the necessary integration teams are assembled. The Motorola Solutions PM will provide a kick off meeting, critical design review (CDR) project schedule, (permit drawings if applicable), equipment procurement and delivery, on-site pre-installation survey, installation, system optimization, alignment management and Customer Acceptance Testing. Once the DAS system is accepted, a final reference-drawing package is provided to document the completed DAS system.
DAS Monitoring and Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance Services
To ensure that the installed DAS system continues to function properly, Motorola Solutions offers remote monitoring and maintenance of the DAS system. Remote monitoring of your system will alert the Motorola Solutions Services team of any equipment alarms that the active DAS equipment triggers. A Motorola Solutions DAS Service provider is dispatched to confirm the alarm and return the DAS system to a fully functional status. Motorola Solutions can also provide yearly preventative maintenance to confirm proper DAS system operation and provide proof of first responder coverage.
