The LEX L11, our mission critical LTE Device, has received NIAP Common Criteria certification.
Why is this important and what does it mean for you?
Certification is a significant milestone. Common Criteria is a program overseen by the international 31-nation Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA). The National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) represents the United States. Certification means that a product has been evaluated against the rigorous international Common Criteria. It uses accredited laboratories to ensure that all security claims have been verified by a neutral third-party.
Once certified, you can be assured that a product’s security claims have been verified by a neutral third party.
LEX L11 is purpose-built for those conducting military, border security, investigation or civilian facility security operations. Many of these missions encounter asymmetrical threats that draw personnel deep into densely populated areas, where they regularly make split second decisions. The speed, control, and discretion that intelligence is disseminated to field personnel can be the difference between successful threat containment or an expanding risk to agency operations and local civilians.
That’s why LEX L11 is such an important device. It ensures teams receive the right information at the right time while bringing more actionable, real time intelligence directly into the hands of field personnel. It’s a rugged, LTE-based smart device built to military drop and shock standards. It pairs the best-in-class voice and audio capabilities of our mission critical radios with smart device functionality so you can use modern applications, send and receive multimedia, and instantly connect with dedicated push-to-talk functionality. It also features:
- Intuitive Controls for Head Up, Hands Free Operation
- Best-In-Class Audio Quality and Performance
- Push-To-Talk Experience with a Dedicated Button
- End-To-End Mobile Security
- Rugged Construction, Purpose-Built to Outperform Even in the Harshest Environments
- Remote Management and Control with Device Management Wall
- Standard and High Capacity Battery Options
The Common Criteria certification reflects LEX L11’s defense-in-depth approach to security, combining multiple layers of advanced defensive walls that stop adversaries from accessing your mission-critical voice and data communications. NIAP certification deems products eligible for National Security System procurement, such as highly sensitive national security, law enforcement and public safety use.
