We’ve built our command center software suite — CommandCentral, to be the first and only end-to-end mission-critical software solution for public safety. We’ve been taking our proven solutions and bringing them together into a single, integrated solution. And we have invested in moving (in some cases completely re-writing) our solutions to run on our cloud platform. This cloud platform supports the entirety of our public safety offerings — from the recently launched APX Next™ radio system to our 9-1-1 call taking, computer-aided dispatch (CAD), records, video and evidence management, and mobile solutions. Secure, compliant, scalable, and resilient. And, a platform that customers are live on today with fully featured, first responder-tested solutions that deliver without compromise.
We know for the first responders we work with that all moments matter. This is particularly true for 9-1-1 call takers and the CAD operators. The first, first responders…the first person you speak to when you call for help. A call to 9-1-1 is — more than anything — a call for help.
The speed, efficiency, and knowledge those operators bring to that call saves lives. That’s where we do our part…by delivering technology that is secure, up-to-date, and cost effective so that they can protect the communities they serve. We have a dedicated team of human factor engineers who work closely with first responders understanding the 9-1-1 workflow. They have spent years sitting with first responders at their workstations to build technology that is more intuitive, more intelligent — focused on the task at hand. We hire people who have been first responders, so that we know what really matters and what saves lives. Most importantly, we know that this job is never done and that we will be here to support first responders so that they can do what they do best, every day. And, to adapt to meet the ever-changing needs as they evolve.
