Know your officer’s street address location

Officer Street

When your officers have to communicate their location, it takes time away from focusing on what matters: protecting themselves and their community. Now you can more easily locate your officers with unit GPS coordinates automatically translated into a street address. Read more in the release notes.

Extend access to see units in emergency situations

Units in emergency

No matter what your role, you need awareness when an officer presses their APX NEXT emergency button. But not all roles need to see those locations, all the time. Now, you can enable a map layer that shows units in an emergency state and assign the layer to all appropriate roles. Read more in the release notes.

Expand your video footprint with Genetec VMS

A new enhanced experience for cloud-based provisioning and livestreaming is now available for Genetec video management systems (VMS). Extend your video footprint by connecting to agency and partner-owned cameras. Expand your coverage by securely accessing video from community partners, such as businesses, schools and places of worship using these VMS.

Look for additional VMS integrations coming soon. Speak with your account representative to learn more. Read more in the set up guide.

Chase investigative leads in real time*

You need to focus on involved vehicles when a situation is unfolding quickly. When you view a plate number of an involved vehicle on camera, you can now add this as a hot plate to the VehicleManager LEARN database in the web video player. After a plate has been added, receive real-time alerts of the involved vehicle’s location through the rules engine.

*A license to VehicleManager is required for this feature.
